Below is a step-by-step overview of how custom homes are scheduled and project timeline will go.
Initial Meeting
We'll meet to discuss the orientation of your home on the lot, your design preferences, and floor plan options. This is where you can share inspiration photos, Pinterest boards, and any must-haves for your dream home.
Contract & Allowances
We will email you a contract for review to make sure everything aligns with your expectations. You will also receive an Allowance Sheet at this time, which outlines the budgeted amounts for your design selections.
Permitting Process
Once the contract is signed, we will begin the permitting process with your municipality. this phase may very in duration depending on your location and county requirements.
Design Meeting
You will meet with us to begin selecting fixtures, such as plumbing, lighting, and harware. Bring any preferences or insperation to help streamline decisons. At this time we will also schedule you an appointment to meet with our cabinet and countertop reps to start making selections.
Trusted Supplier Selections
At this stage, you will visit our trusted supplier partners to make further selections such as tile, flooring, and general materials.
Final Selections Meeting
We'll meet to finalize all design selections and gather client signatures of approval. Once selections are approved, orders will be placed.
On-Site Review Meeting
Once the contract is signed, we will begin the permitting process with your municipality. this phase may very in duration depending on your location and county requirements.
Final Walkthrough
Before we receive your Certificate of Occupancy and prepare for move-in, we will conduct a final walkthrough with you. This endures all final punch list items are addressed and that you are 100% satisfied before taking possession.
